Maritime Career Day
Maritime Event Center, Pier 66 Seattle
Thursday, May 12th
8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
The Friends of Maritime Board in a partnership with the Seattle Propeller Club is organizing Career Day 2011 to bring together representatives from maritime, trade, fisheries, government, environmental, research, and educational organizations to present information, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and potential career and training opportunities to the greater community.
Companies may participate in a number of ways:
- Staffing a booth
- Providing a vessel for tours
- Serving as “ask me” roving advisors
- Providing a demonstration
- Serve as a docent
- Be a sponsor.
*Sponsorship helps us to provide this opportunity for the community at no charge. Given the cutbacks in school budgets, the need for funds to cover bus transportation costs will be greater this year.
